Nice expressive figure. Agree about anatomy problems and the re should be some shadow ounder the right hand being cast from the lightsource.

I like the minimal composition, color palette, and sense of light; they all work together very nicely. As Daykan mentioned, greater attention to correct anatomy would do wonders here.

Great lighting and I love the painterly look of this piece! The biggest anatomical problem that stands out to me is that her jaw is a little too rounded. That, and her eyes seem to be at different angles. If you flip the canvas in Photoshop, you'll see what I mean.

Good job, though!

BEFORE: hmmm... i'm pretty sure i nailed the anatomy correctly (for what i've intended stylistically), although lighting on the hand is definitely a problem.


AFTER: thanks guys, i've taken into account all of the helpful critque (Daykan, Avantis, and Chinchillla) and changed the image as much as i felt needed. thanks again for your help =)
